When single actresses pursued married men!

It isn't just the men, you know.

Bollywood is rife with stories of philandering men, but several prominent actresses have been making a beeline for married men.

Here's a look at some prominent ones:

Priyanka Chopra with Abhishek Bachchan

So seductively did Chopra chat up Jr B at a recent party, apparently, that he all but forgot about his wife, Aishwarya Rai. The couple fought at the party and Bachchan was so engrossed in talking to Priyanka that he didn't even realise Ash had left till she, tired of waiting in the car, came back to the party to yank him out of there. Ouch.

Brabara Mori with Hrithik Roshan

If this was a publicity stunt to promote their upcoming film Kites, well, then it was very effective indeed since the scandal-rags went to town claiming that the Mexican beauty was all over her desi hunk.

Roshan's marriage to wife Sussanne, however, seems stronger than ever.

Sapna with Farhan Akhtar

Akhtar's gone blue in the face denying the rumours, but the buzz persists that he hooked up with an assistant director, allegedly named Sapna, who was working on sister Zoya's film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Several tabloids continue to claim that there's something there.

Vidya Balan with Siddharth Roy Kapoor

Apparently Kapoor, the CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, might just be the SRK that Balan keeps raving about during every given opportunity.

The two have been spotted together often, and buzz of an engagement is in the air well, as soon as Kapoor's divorce from his first wife comes through, that is.

Tabu with Sajid Nadiadwala

Massively-mainstream filmmaker Nadiadwala has often been linked to the arthouse queen Tabu, their 'friendship' frequently coming under scrutiny from the gossiphounds.

The producer, who was once wed to the late Divya Bharti, however, states he is now happily married. Wonder what Tabu thinks about that.

Lara Dutta with Mahesh Bhupathi

They're now married and make a very attractive couple indeed. But when they started out scandal followed them everywhere.

This was before Bhupathi was separated from wife Shvetha Jaishanker and Lara was still rumoured to be seeing Dino Morea. Anyway, the two are together now and all seems well with their world.

Priyanka Chopra with Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar was married to Twinkle Khanna when he apparently started working with Priyanka Chopra, but -- if we are to believe the unanimous voice of the tabloids -- the up-and-coming actress went for him in a big way, indulging in a roaring affair with Akshay.

The buzz resulted in the actors stopping working together, so it is likely that something happened.

Kareena Kapoor with Hrithik Roshan

Roshan married his sweetheart Sussanne relatively young, but this apparently didn't stop Kareena Kapoor from apparently being more than friends with him at the time they worked together on Subhash Ghai's Yaadein.

Much before her Shahid Kapoor phase, this was reportedly a period of Kareena's life where she was footloose and preferred to stay away from commitment.

Rani Mukerji with Govinda

Govinda, a married man with two kids, was surrounded by scandal when rumours of a relationship with Rani Mukerji surfaced.

Apparently things were bad at home with wife Sunita, and Govinda allegedly moved in with Rani in her Mumbai flat -- which, according to some sources, the actor bought for her -- for some time while his wife stayed elsewhere.

After ChiChi and Rani 'broke up' in 2002, they haven't worked together since.

Nagma with Saurav Ganguly

It was all idle speculation for the longest time, until Southern star Nagma herself confirmed, in 2001, that she'd ended an affair with the Indian cricket team captain.

Apparently, there was a brief relationship between the actress and the married cricketer, but the actress maintained that it was not she who was responsible for the marital discord in Ganguly's life.
