Why Mohanlal is angry

January 22, 2016 10:52 IST

The latest updates from the Malayalam film industry.

Mohanlal

In his latest blog titled 'Happy Journey', superstar Mohanlal has shared the experience of his friend, who was travelling from Kozhikode to Palakkad for a family function.

The journey was a nightmare due to a heavy traffic jam caused by the procession from a temple, and it lasted for hours.

"I am not against such processions or programmes organised by political parties or religious bodies. But is it fair when it all creates great difficulty for the normal travellers?" asks Mohanlal.

"The strength of a group should not be a license to ignore individual freedom. Politics should be in our thoughts and religion in the places of worship. Their strength should not be displayed in the public roads, unnecessarily disturbing the normal lives of others," wrote the actor.
