Loren's fave director is her son

Depp, Del Toro together again!

What happens when Johnny Depp (Pirates of The Caribbean, Once Upon A Time In Mexico) and Benicio Del Toro (Traffic, The Usual Suspects) come together?

They write The Rum Diary. Actually, it is the name of their new film together.

Johnny DeppAs a follow-up to their previous stint together, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, the duo will team in this second adaptation of Hunter S Thompson's novel, according to a report on Guardian Unlimited.

Unlike Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, which was helmed by Terry Gilliam, The Rum Diary will be directed by Oscar winner Del Toro (for Traffic).

Although critically acclaimed, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas didn't perform well at the US box office. Perhaps The Rum Diary will have better luck?
