Julianne Moore and Bart Freundlich She notched two Oscar nominations for her performance in Stephen Daldry's The Hours and Todd Hayne's Far From Heaven

Now, more happiness comes Julianne Moore's way. The 42-year-old actress exchanged vows with independent filmmaker Bart Freundlich on August 23 according to a report in New York Post.

Moore wore a lilac Prada gown and shoes. The couple had been dating for six years and became engaged last New Year's Eve.

Moore is now working in Tom Cairns' Marie And Bruce and Peter Howitt's Laws Of Attraction.

Baby boy for Crowe

Danielle Spencer and Russell CroweAccording to British tabloid The Sun Russell Crowe announced to the audience present during a gig of his band, 30 Odd Foot Of Grunt, in Chicago that he and wife Danielle Spencer are expecting a baby boy.

The Oscar winner (for Gladiator) was so happy that he could barely contain his excitement and spilled the beans.

The baby is expected some time in January 2004, says a report on imdb.com.

Moulin Rouge's Christian, Ewan McGregor, has bagged the prestigious prize at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, says a report on ananova.com.

Ewan McGregorHis movie, Young Adam, was presented with the Michael Powell Award for Best New British Feature Film.

Directed by David Mackenzie, Young Adam stars McGregor as Joe, the boy who finds the dead body of a girl floating in a river.

Young Adam is slated for a September 26 release in the United Kingdom.
