Dhamaka

What a solid 'dhamaka' this has turned out to be already as Kartik Aaryan wrapped up the film's principal shooting in 10 days flat.

This could well be making inroads into the record books as Director Ram Madhvani, who is known for his economical way of film-making, brought his experience into play to ensure that the film was shot quickly.

 

Pathan (tentative title)

Even though Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have come together for Siddharth Anand's Pathan, there is no official word from Yash Raj Films yet nor an official announcement of the film. The title has not been revealed either.

All we can say is SRK's comeback is much awaited.

 

Bell Bottom

Bell Bottom was shot entirely during the pandemic in Scotland.

Akshay Kumar was the first one to take the plunge and shoot at a time when actors were shying away from visiting the sets.

A spy thriller, this is based on a true story.

It is expected to released on April 2.

 

Heropanti 2

Tiger Shroff and action go together, and what better way for him to keep the adrenalin pumping than to get back in Heropanti mode?

It was this film that started it all for Tiger when Producer Sajid Nadiadwala launched him in the action masala entertainer.

The second installment in the franchise will have Tiger's Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3 Director Ahmed Khan calling the shots.

 

Ek Villain 2

Director Mohit Suri hit a six with Ek Villain starring Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh.

For the second film in the franchise, he aims to hit it out of the park all over again with John Abraham stepping in as villain.

Earlier, Aashiqui and Malang star Aditya Roy Kapur was said to be featuring in the film.

But now, it will be Arjun Kapoor.

 

Rocketry

A long cherished dream that R Madhavan has been carrying for a while, he is now getting ready for the release of his much-awaited film, Rocketry.

Made in multiple languages, Rocketry is a big budget dramatic thriller based on a true story.

It also boasts of a special appearance by Shah Rukh Khan.

The film will see Madhavan stepping in as director.

 

Atrangi Re

Akshay has already shot for a substantial part of Atrangi Re in Delhi, and is now looking to bring it to a close soon.

Aanand L Rai returns to making a love story after Raanjhanaa where he reunites with Dhanush.

Sara Ali Khan gets into a romantic zone after Kedarnath.

 

Fighter

When Karan Johar announced Fighter with Arjun Reddy fame star Vijay Deverakonda, there was a lot of curiosity about what the young actor would bring to the table.

His co-star in the film is Ananya Panday and with star Director Puri Jagannadh calling the shots, this one is expected to be a quick-fire entertainer with no dull moments.

 

14 Phere

The Hindu wedding tradition has seven phere, so one wonders how 14 Phere comes into the picture!

That's the core plot point of the romcom entertainer 14 Phere that features Kriti Kharbanda as the leading lady with Vikrant Massey.

The shooting of this breezy entertainer is already on.

 

Antim: The Final Truth

After going through multiple title changes, the name of Loveyatri actor Aayush Sharma's next film has been confirmed as Antim: The Final Truth.

His brother-in-law Salman Khan will make more than just a special appearance.

Director Mahesh Manjrekar had made quite a few hard hitting films at the start of the millennium and he returns with this.

 

Bachchan Pandey

An Akshay Kumar starrer which was originally slated for a Christmas 2020 release, it will now release towards the end of 2021.

Arshad Warsi, Kriti Sanon and Prateik Babbar join Akshay in this fun action comedy, the shooting of which is currently on.

 

RRR

A biggie by all means, this one is designed as yet another masterpiece by Director S S Rajamouli.

The Baahubali movies have made Rajamouli a household name and if RRR scales similar heights, he will emerge as the numero uno director of the country, across all languages.

Ram Charan Teja and NTR Jr star in this period drama, along with Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.

 

Badhaai Do

From Badhaai Ho to Badhaai Do, this has become a franchise in the making. This time, Rajkummar Rao leads the cast.

The shooting of this film, with Bhumi Pednekar, is already on.

 

Bhediya

Stree Director Amar Kaushik returns with Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan with Kriti Sanon. This is the second time the actors have paired up since Dilwale.

This is set to be a dark, edge-of-the-seat thriller.

The shoot will begin soon.

 

Saina

After changing hands from Shraddha Kapoor to Parineeti Chopra, Director Amol Gupte's Saina is back on track.

Saina is a biopic based on badminton ace Saina Nehwal's life.
