The very prolific Telugu director Puri Jagannath is all set to give Bollywood another chance.
Puri’s first foray into Hindi cinema Buddah Hoga Tera Baap, an unabashed homage to Amitabh Bachchan, did not perform well enough to make Puri do another Hindi film.
But now after six successful Telugu films since the Hindi one, Puri is confident enough to plunge into Bollywood again.
“I have two other Telugu films to complete before I go into my Hindi film. But yes, I am definitely doing another film in Hindi in 2015,” informs Purii.
How would he squeeze in the Hindi film?
“Oh, it won’t be difficult," he says. "Temper with N T R Jr and Kajal Aggarwal (pictured here) is almost complete. We’re releasing it for Pongal. After that, I have a commitment for another Telugu film starring Mahesh Babu. Then I will do a Hindi film in 2015."
“I believe in working fast. I take three-four months to do a film. It’s important to finish films as quickly as possible,” says Puri.
Shedding light on Temper, Puri says, “It is the story of a bad cop played NTR Jr. A very stylish action-oriented film. I have given it my best shot. Now let’s see how it goes.”
