Last updated on: August 01, 2016 19:18 IST

Salman Khan could not control his tears at the prayer meet of Sooraj Barjatya's cousin Rajjat, who succumbed to cancer on July 29.

Rajjat, the son of Ajit Barjatya, was the managing director of Rajshri Productions' digital arm, called Rajshri Media.

The Barjatyas gave Salman his first blockbuster hit in Maine Pyar Kiya way back in 1989, followed by many more. Their last big release was 2015's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
