Jayaram in Makeup Man

Director Shafi, who has churned out quite a few hits in Malayalam, narrates the story of a Makeup Man.

Produced under the banner of Rejaputhra Films, Makeup Man which is slated for Onam, stars Jayaram and Sheela (of Maya Bazar and Thanthonni). Prithviraj and Kunchacko Boban have cameos in the film.

It's a cinema within cinema, scripted by duo Sachi and Sethu, the writers of Chocolate, directed by Shafi and Robin Hood, directed by Joshiy.

Jayaram's character is an MBA graduate becomes a personal makeup man of a heroine, played by Sheela. In fact, she became a star just by chance.

Jayaram feels that after Satyan Anthikad's Kadha Thudarunnu, which had an emotional theme, "it is quite nice to be part of a film with a humorous backdrop."

Shafi has earlier directed films like One Man Show, Kalyana Raman, Thommanum Makkalum, Mayavi, Chocolate, Lollipop, Chattambinaadu and Majaa (Tamil). 

Music is by Vidyasagar.
