Fahadh Faasiland Amala Paul in Oru Indian PranayakathaFahadh Faasil plays a khadi-clad local politician in director Sathyan Anthikkad’s Oru Indian Pranayakatha (An Indian love story). Amala Paul plays the female lead.

The film is produced by Central Pictures and scripted by Dr Iqbal Kuttippuram. Shooting is currently underway in Kottayam.

“We have seen Fahadh’s various performances in recent years and I was very impressed by it all. His versatility is amazing. Here, he is in an entirely

different mould. He is a young politician with lots of ambition and his life takes a different turn after he meets Irene (Amala Paul), who has come from Canada to make a documentary. This is not a political film, but a genuine love story,” says the ace director.

“I am enjoying this,” says Fahadh Faasil. “It has been pretty hectic but it is great to do roles of various shades. This is a film in trademark Sathyan Anthikkad mould and it is great fun to be part of it.”

Pradeep Nair wields the camera and Vidyasagar is the music director.

Oru Indian Pranayakatha will hit the screens on December 18.
