Karan Johar sure has come a long way.

After his humble, podgy beginnings as the baseball cap wearing dork in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Johar moved behind the camera to become the man with the midas touch, with blockbusters like Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

His banner, Dharma Productions, has enjoyed successes like Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kaal. In fact, he has not yet had a flop!

And now, an increasingly lean Karan has another avatar -- as the host of the fabulous television talk show, Koffee With Karan. It has taken not just the audience, but also the filmi fraternity by storm.

Johar is getting back into direction, his Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna will star Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles, among others.

And, Karan Johar turns 33 on Wednesday, May 25.
