Shah Rukh talks to the media on his birthday

Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his birthday today with the media. Like every year, a lot of his from all around the nation gathered outside his bungalow 'Mannat' in Bandra a suburb in Mumbai to catch a glimpse of the superstar.

The actor who turns 46 today said "I feel blessed that the media is always present during my birthday. I treat all the people form the media fraternity as my family."

Shah Rukh is currently riding high on the success of Ra.One and commenting on the box office collection of the film he said, "I don't really bother about the collection. Since the time the movie has released I have traveled all the way from Los Angeles to Bhatinda (in Punjab) (Smiles) everyone has been talking about the film. People are writing and talking good things and bad things about the film, but at the end of the day I feel everything happens for good."

The actor recollected his most memorable gift that he had ever received on his birthday. "One of my close friends had gifted a locket to me." Shah Rukh said, "The locket would open up and had a picture of my mother and my father in it. I still have it with me. I was very touched."

Shah Rukh's kids, Suhana and Aryan made a big birthday poster, which the actor read out to the media, "Suhana and Aryan made a poster which read, please don't ever change as you are the best father. We know you work very hard but you still take out time to be with us. We don't wish for angels because whatever we want and don't worry Ra.One is the biggest hit in the history of Indian cinema" smiled Shah Rukh.
