According to The Telegraph report, Twilight Saga's latest installment Breaking Dawn was the most searched film on Google in the UK this year.

The film enjoys a huge fan following all around the world and created a lot of buzz around the time of its release as the much loved lead pair -- vampire Edward Cullen and Bella Swan get married and consummate their relationship in this installment.

With the number of Twihards only on the rise, it's not difficult to see how the film made it to the top of this list.

2. Final Destination 5

Supernatural horror film Final Destination 5, fifth installment in the franchise, released on August 4 this year and starred Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell and Miles Fisher among others.

The film recorded the third biggest opening for the franchise and receieved generally positive reviews from all around.

3. Mean Girls 2

Mean Girls 2 was an American television teen film made as a spin off/sequel to Linsday Lohan-starrer Mean Girls that was released in 2004.

Mean Girls 2 released this year in January and takes up the third spot on this list.

4. True Grit

American Western True Grit released in 2010 and is a second adaptation of Charles Portis's novel of the same name.

The film was a great success and earned quite a few nominations at academy awards, BAFTA and the Golden Globes for best film and for actors Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfiled.

The Oscar nods made the film only more popular online.

5. Conan The Barbarian

Another film to be released in August this year, fantasy film Conan The Barbarian had spent seven years in development vefore it made it to the screens.

The film was widely panned by critics but that didn't affect the film's online popularity much as it made it to the fifth spot on this list.

6. Scream 4

The fourth installment of slasher film Scream came more than a decade after it's prequel.

That and Friends star Courtney Cox's return to the screen were a hude draw for the film's fans. The film released in April this year and figures at number six on this list.

7. The Inbetweeners

An award-winning British sitcom, Inbetweeners aired between 2008 and 2010 and revolved around a teenaged boy named Will.

The sitcom was nominated for BAFTA in 2009 and 2010.

8. Little Fockers

Sequel to Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro-starrer comedy Meet The Fockers, Little Fockers was released in 2010 and starred Jessica Alba, Laura Dern and Harvey Keitel.

The film failed to match the buzz of its predecessors but clearly made its presence felt in the web world.

9. Transformers 3
