Another well received film to come out in 2012 was Asheem Ahluwalia's widely feted Miss Lovely that had a limited release in Indian theatres in January this year after making several rounds of international film festivals.

The film was an ode to Mumbai's C-grade film industry that mostly churns out low budget horror/sex movies.

Another erotic thriller to come out of the Bhatt camp, Pooja Bhatt-directed Jism 2 marked the debut of Sunny Leone in Hindi films.

Costarring two hunky men -- Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh -- the film was replete with steamy scenes and a scantily clad Leone for the most part.

Girlfriend

Actresses Amrita Arora and Eesha Koppikar raised hell as lesbian lovers in Karan Razdan's 2004 film Girlfriend.

While the makers claimed that the film dealt with lesbianism, Girlfriend was, at best, a horribly misguided flesh fest that had soem really warped idea of homosexuality.
