Indo-Canadian filmmaker Deepa Mehta has received Canada’s highest civilian award -- the Order of Canada. 

She shared a picture of her and tweeted: 'Order of Canada investiture with the amazing @DevyaniSaltzman #Family @GGDavidJohnston @RideauHall.' p 

Shabana Azmi congratulated her and wrote: 'wow! Congratulations Deepa- Richly deserved.'

Established in 1967 by Queen Elizabeth II, the award recognises a lifetime of outstanding achievement, dedication to the community and service to the nation to people in all sectors of Canadian society.

When Rahul Bose danced to a Bollywood number

Actor Rahul Bose, who recently rehearsed for his first dance number for one of his upcoming films, took to Twitter to share his experience.

'For the first time in my career y'day I rehearsed dance steps for a song in a film. Two choreographers have been hospitalised for shock. Another choreographer laughed so hard they had to call in the paramedics. #burstbloodvessel #myfirstdancenumber,' the 46-year-old actor tweeted.

'At one point I thought I'd pulled off a pretty nifty move. The hall (with 40 dancers) suddenly went very quiet. #myfirstdancenumber,' he added.
