Shah Rukh Beats Salman, Big B, in Forbes' Richest List

Salman Khan may have taken over from his arch rival Shah Rukh Khan in popularity but in Forbes magazine's first list of Richest Indian celebrities, SRK came out on top as the biggest earner.

Based on extensive research and recorded earnings between September 2011 to October 2012, Shah Rukh came out on top with a staggering Rs 202.8 crore in earnings.

While the Forbes issue is set to hit stands on Febraury 8, here's a look at the top 10 Indian earners.

2. Salman Khan

Salman Khan, whose last film Dabangg 2 crossed the Rs 100 crore mark effortlessly, has been placed at number two.

The actor made Rs 144.2 crore in earnings.

3. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Indian cricketer and team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, made a whopping Rs 135.16 crore between September 2011 and October 2012.

Both Dhoni and Salman were ahead of SRK in terms of popularity.
