'Winning hearts means more than winning a trophy'

American performer Lauren Gottlieb, who lost the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 title to Dhrasti Dhami, turned to Twitter to thank her fans for the love.

‘Sometimes when you give your heart, soul, and 100% to something the outcome doesn't matter...it's the journey that matters. Thank you so much for makin me and @punitjpathak #Jhalak journey so beautiful and memorable. I mean it from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU,’ she tweeted.

‘Even though I am the runner up I truly feel like I won the hearts of everyone in India and that to me means more than winning a trophy. ‘To come from a different country and be voted all the way to the finale just shows how much love and warmth the people of India have. I've fallen in love with India and the people out here. I came into India as a foreigner but I'm staying in India as an Indian,’ she added.

Winner Drashti Dhami also thanked her fans: ‘Helo! Finally we did it !honestly wouldnt b possible witnt u all !Thanks for all the prayers n votes ! Muah sorry 4 the delay.Love u all.’

Madhur Bhandarkar attends Ladakh International Film Festival

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who is busy scripting his next romantic film, attended the second edition of Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF).

He shared a picture and tweeted: ‘Indus River pic.#ladakh film festival 2013’ 

He shared another picture with lyricist Gulzar and added: ‘Sharing one more pic with my favourite Gulzaar saab.’ 

Filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and Aparna Sen were also spotted at the festival.

Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting AR Murugadoss' Thuppakki remake titled Pistol, shared a picture from the sets and tweeted: ‘Warning to all eve-teasers, never mess with women again! This picture will tell you why.’ 

Meanwhile, he has teamed up with director Neeraj Pandey again for a film which will go on floors by next year. Confirming the same, he wrote: ‘Film-making is an art & I believe Neeraj Pandey is a fine artist who brings out the better in me. Glad to be teaming up with my #Special26 director again.’
