Shilpa Shetty and her sister Shamita celebrated their mother Sunanda's birthday recently.

Shilpa's husband Raj Kundra shared a picture from the celebrations (above) and tweeted: 'Happy happy birthday maa xx may you live a 100 years!! Lots of love and thank you for giving me @TheShilpaShetty.' 

Shilpa Shetty also tweeted her wishes: 'The woman behind my being,values,success and positivity..my Mom..Happy birthday Ma,love u, thank u for being my Rock of Gibralter.'

Sheena Chohan shines at Shanghai film fest

Indian actress Sheena Chohan has been nominated for the Best Actress Award for her performance in Bangladeshi film Ant Story at the ongoing 17th Shanghai International Film Festival.

Shekhar Kapur congratulated her and wrote: 'Congratulations @SheenaChohan for being nominated best actress at prestigious Shanghai International Film Festival for 'Ant Story'. Terrific.'

Meanwhile, Sheena shared a picture from the festival (above) and wrote: 'Lights camera action...here at the Shanghai International Film Festival between all the celebrities,amazing directors and world class filmmakers. Watched an Iranian film yesterday. So many amazing films..enriching experience.'  

The award ceremony, which will be hosted by John Woo and Jackie Chan, will take place on June 22.

11 years of Jhankar Beats!

Jhankar Beats completed 11 years today and director Sujoy Ghosh got nostalgic.

He tweeted: '11 years of jhankaar beats and career today thanks to @PritishNandy , the man with balls of steel. faatafaati aadmi :)'

Pritish Nandy was quick to reply and wrote: 'Hey thanks and may we keep doing stuff that will stay forever in the hearts and minds of people. Thank you Sujoy.'

The film stars Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Suri, Rahul Bose, Shayan Munshi, Rinke Khanna, and Riya Sen.
