Actress Richa Chadda is the new ambassador for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Dressed in a leafy outfit for the campaign, the actress tweeted: ''Guys watch out for my new PETA India ad that release on Earth Day #GoVeg #GoGreen.' 

Richa will soon be seen in two films: Ishqeria and Tamanchey.

Abhishek Bachchan celebrated his seventh wedding anniversary with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on Sunday, and thanked their fans on Twitter.

'Thank you all so very much for all the anniversary wishes. Truly touched. Big love, Aishwarya & Abhishek,' he wrote.

Abhishek is currently vacationing in Goa with his family.

Amitabh Bachchan, who was last seen in Bhoothnath Returns, has started shooting for his next film with director R Balki.

The film co-stars Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter.

'First day shoot new project R Balki .. nerves, apprehensions, discomfort, uncertainty, butterflies ! Only redemption, the director !' the 71-year-old actor tweeted.

'First day done .. nerves and apprehensions a bit settled .. redemption from the director for sure ! Dhanush and Akshara on set !' he later added.

Alia Bhatt, who is getting praise for her performance in 2 States, recently spent time with her grandfather.

She shared a picture (above) with her sister and grandfather and tweeted: 'Best grandfather ever! Family time after agesssssss ;) #love #family'
