“I hardly gave content (to the show) and can’t be fake just for the publicity. I didn’t play games and that worked against me," she said.

“I should have never done this show. It was my fault that I chose to do this show.”

However, she did learn something on the show: that she can't handle “fake people” and indulge in politics.

“I decided to participate in the Colors show as I had declined it twice earlier. There is nothing wrong with the show, but the format was too tough for me."

Ratan admits the prize money was a draw.

“It was tempting and I thought I would regret if I didn’t go on the show. But a fat pay cheque meant nothing to me as I had to go for days without proper meals,” she complains.

The other draw was host of the show, Salman Khan.

“I had a bet with my friend that I would propose to Salman Khan on national television (just before I entered the house). I proposed, and have won Rs 10 lakh!”

The high point of her stay was when she dared to enter a bath tub filled with cow dung.

"I wanted to prove to everyone that I was not a weak link in the house. That was the only reason I did that task."

She also believes that Armaan, who is getting the reputation of being a bully, is a strong player. But he and Tannisha are in competition with Kushal and Gauhar.

"I think Kushal and Gauhar are definitely more than good friends and they look cute together. Of late, they have inspired Arman and Tanisha.”

Of another housemate, Andy, she says, "I could not understand Andy in the beginning. He is very nice to you, but behind your back, he will not spare you. However, he won’t lie to you and will tell you upfront that I said this about you. Once I understood that, I became friends with him."

As for Kamya Punjabi, who nominated Ratan, she says that she is bold but not in front of Armaan.

Ratan finds Pratusha Banerjee to be a good player because she manages to stay out of things by playing the innocent card.

Asked about her future plans, the actress said, "Right now, I want to stay with my family. I was very scared after I came out of the show -- I felt the cameras were still following me. I need some time to relax."
