The 2014 Grammy awards, held in Los Angeles on January 26, turned out to be a spectacular show with epic performances by Pink, Beyonce and French electronic pop duo Daft Punk -- the biggest winners of the night.

The Grammy awards got bigger and better this year, with electrifying performances by Pink, a very raunchy rendition of her latest hit Drunk In Love by Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay Z and French Electronic pop duo Daft Punk clocking in five wins.

Beyonce and Jay Z perform Drunk In Love, Beyonce's single from her self-titled new album.

The singer surprised her fans worldwide in December 2013, when she released her entire new album with 17 songs and music videos on iTunes without so much as an announcement or promotions.

While her album was released too late to qualify for this year's Grammys, Jay Z picked up the awards for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for Holy Grail and Best Music Video for Suit & Tie, both in collaboration with Justin Timberlake.
