Veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra, who passed away shortly after his birthday last year, would have turned 81 on Friday, September 27.

The Chopra family, in a bid to make the late director's first birth anniversary a memorable occasion, is set to organise a fashion show on the special day. The ethnic outfits will be designed by Diwa'ni, a clothing line inspired by fashionable clothing worn by Yash Raj heroines over the years.

Here's a look at some memorable avatars of Yash Raj's heroines, who are all set to walk the ramp on his birthday.
