"I have never celebrated birthdays in my childhood and never missed them," he added. "I am thankful to God for this life. Not many people get to see so many people outside their house to celebrate their birthday. Not many get the love that I am getting."

The actor says he personally opens every gift given by his fans.

"I wake up to the noise my fans make on my birthday. I love gifts. I look forward to opening them,” he said.

"There was a pendant my mom used to wear before she passed away...that's precious. It has got my parents' picture in it. I wear it sometimes," SRK said.

"I don't like it when people call up and say 'what do we give you, you have everything.' I say, give me more of everything... bungalows, cars etc,” Shah Rukh laughed.

"This year, I want to spend time with my children. They are growing older and getting busier with their own lives," SRK said.

"If I have time, I would like to do TV. The right opportunity should come and the time has to be right, then I would like to participate in TV," he said.

When asked who among the young set of actors has the potential to be the next Shah Rukh Khan, he said, "I see the next SRK in AbRam, but it will take some time.”
