Union Minister Maneka Gandhi, who is also the Founder and Chairperson of People For Animals (PFA), hosted a grand premiere of Akshay Kumar's latest film Entertainment in Delhi.

Expressing his gratitude, Akshay Kumar tweeted: 'Grateful to Maneka Gandhi for her support and being the perfect host :)'

Meanwhile, his colleagues turned to Twitter to wish luck to the entire team:

Ajay, Kareena take Singham Returns to Gujarat

Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor have started touring the country to promote their latest film Singham Returns. The duo, who recently visited Ahmedabad, enjoyed the local delicacies. 

Ajay Devgn shared a picture (above) and tweeted: 'Hectic day of @SinghamReturns promotion in Ahmedabad/Jaipur yday but we sure had delicious Gujarati thali for lunch.'

Singham Returns releases on August 15.

Rani Mukerji on Kaun Banega Crorepati 8

Rani Mukerji visited the sets of Amitabh Bachchan's game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 8 to promote her film Mardaani.

Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture (above) and tweeted: 'an inspiring story of Fatma Khatun .. along with the exceptional artist and colleague Rani Mukherji. KBC 'housalebaaz' Fatma Khatun and Rani Mukherji of 'Mardani' .. staggering horrific stories of trafficking!' 

Mardaani will release on August 22.

 

Riteish Deshmukh to play Dada Kondke

Riteish Deshmukh, who was last seen in Marathi film Lai Bhaari, is all set to play veteran Marathi actor Dada Kondke in a film to be produced by Akshay Kumar. It will be directed by Mohit Suri.

Remembering the legendary actor on his 82nd birth anniversary Riteish tweeted: 'Today is the Birth Anniversary of Shri Dada Kondke. The Great Entertainer -The Icon -The Legend.'

'Did you know- Hawaldars were addressed as Pandus Coz Dada Kondke had made a film Pandu Hawaldar in 1975 #HappyBirthdayDadaKondke,' he added.
