Should film stars abstain from endorsing alcohol? TELL US!

It's only logical, and understandable at times, that fans seek inspiration in the larger than life personas of film stars.

But a curious incident involving South superstar Mahesh Babu [ Images ] has emerged as a classic case of taking things a tad too far.

According to reports, two youths recently lodged a complaint with the Andhra Pradesh Human Rights Commission blaming the Telugu actor for their alcohol addiction.

Turns out, the duo -- ardent fans of Mahesh Babu -- took to alcohol with a vengeance after they saw the actor endorse a certain brand of liquor and stated that liquor is not injurious to health. 

This raises the question: Are film stars being unreasonably targetted or should they really not endorse alcohol?
