Filmmaker Karan Johar recently shot for his last episode of celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8.

Shahid Kapoor, who is a part of the jury too, ‏thanked him on Twitter: '@karanjohar u will be sorely missed on the sets of #JhalakReloaded. No one can replace you. Thank you for everything.'

Karan Johar responded by saying, '@shahidkapoor will miss you lots!!!! Keep the flag flying.'

Thanking his entire team, he added: 'Was a hugely emotional day for me on the sets of #JhalakReloaded yesterday...thank you to the entire team for making me feel so special.'

Anupam Kher, Kirron Kher celebrate 30 years of togetherness

Anupam Kher , who is currently touring the US with his play Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha, is missing wife Kirron Kher on their 30th marriage anniversary on August 26.

He took to Twitter to wish her: 'So today Kirron Ji & I complete 30years of marriage. It has been a great journey. I am in U.S & she in Chandigarh.:)#KucchBhiHoSaktaHai'

Anupam will be next seen in Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which releases on November 15.

Priyanka Chopra: So happy to bring this powerful idea to India


Priyanka Chopra, Nandita Das, Madhuri Dixit, Sushmita Sen, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Freida Pinto have come together for a feature film titled Girl Rising: Woh Padhegi, Woh Udegi.

Priyanka Chopra shared the poster, above, and wrote: 'Been a part of the Girl Rising campaign since inception & so happy to bring this powerful idea to India and so glad to have the support of my amazing colleagues.'

'Contrary to the belief that actresses don't get along.. It just took 1 phone call to get these amazing ladies on board,' she added.

Yes, actresses do get along quite well, if these pictures are anything to go by.

Girl Rising: Woh Padhegi, Woh Udegi promotes the government's Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. It will air on August 29.

On the sets of Dilwale in Iceland

Shah Rukh Khan has been posting a lot of pictures from Iceland, where he's shooting for Rohit Shetty's Dilwale. 

Before tweeting these collage of pictures, he had tweeted some more.

'Mere agal bagal...Filmon ki jaan...Rohit Shetty aur Farah Khan,' he captioned the collage.

Farah Khan wrote: 'Aur beech mein filmon ki SHAAN..shahrukh khan!! Wah wah!'

The film will release on December 18.

Zuban, Aligarh, Bajrangi Bhaijaan at Korean film fest

Debutant Mozez Singh's musical drama Zubaan and Hansal Mehta's Aligarh will be screened at the 20th Busan International Film Festival.

Zuban actress Sarah Jane Dias welcomed the news on Twitter: '#cannes2015 to #TIFF15 and now to #busaninternationalfilmfestival 2015!!! Thank you Universe!!! So blessed! So humbled and so damn excited! Love to my team @zubaanthemovie Our film is going to open the festival!!!!'

Manoj Bajpayee, who is acting in Aligarh, tweeted: 'So our film ALIGARH premiers at BUSAN FILM FESTIVA. Congratulations to each and every member of the team.'

The 10-day film festival, which starts on October 1, will also screen Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Starlet Poonam Pandey is all set for the release of her upcoming Telugu film Malini & Co.

She posted a picture, above, and tweeted: 'Promotions and Media round up for Malini & Co which is all set to release on this Friday 28th.' 

Directed by Veeru K, the thriller will release on August 28.
