Yes, it sounds unlikely but Kareena Kapoor insists that she 'never starved'!
At the success party of fitness trainer and celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar's book Women and the Weight Loss Tamasha at Olive Bar and Kitchen in Bandra, a suburban restaurant in Mumbai, Kareena revealed some diet secrets and even handed over the 'size zero title' to her sister Karisma.
Kareena believes that it is her sister who's the fittest lady in the film industry, and that she deserved the size zero tag because she lost so much weight post-delivery.
"This is the right time to announce that the crown of size zero goes to Karisma Kapoor," Kareena beamed. "She is the size zero in the industry today."
In turn, Karisma replied, "I give the credit to Bebo (Kareena),
as she recommended me to Rujuta Diwekar. And now I have the right amount of weight on me, which feels great!"
Rujuta, incidentally, is the lady behind Kareena's much-talked about size zero frame.
Karisma will be making a comeback in the movies with Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishk. "This year will be very special because I will be doing a movie after a long time. It feels wonderful that two sisters have been in the same profession throughout," Karisma said.
Kareena, meanwhile, just returned from a 20-day vacation to Switzerland. She claims that the key to a good figure is to eat right.
"I have never starved," she said. "Even when I used to work out for size zero for Tashan, I used to eat aloo and gobhi parathas daily! It is about looking good, feeling good and being fit. Once you do that, all the boys will automatically like you!"
