Experiencing a Salman Khan release in theatre is often even more fun than the movie itself.

Maine Pyar Kiya
"Dosti ka ek usool hai madam -- no sorry, no thank you."
So it's obviously inspired from Love Story's "Love means never having to say you're sorry."
But when a wide-eyed Salman offers his hat and hand in friendship to a coy Bhagyashree in an iconic moment of his breakthrough Maine Pyaar Kiya, all one can do is smile and sigh.

"Dosti ki hai, nibhani toh padegi."
The simplicity of these words, the earnestness in Salman's expression and the warmth in Sooraj Barjatya's narrative is what still works about this 'I get by with a little help from my friends' scenario.
Dabangg
"Hum tum mein itne ched karenge ki confuse ho jaoge ki saans kahan se le aur paadein kahan se."
Salman flatulence-themed threat to Sonu Sood is just the sort of claptrap one eagerly expects from wacky cop Chulbul Pandey. Needless to say, he doesn't disappoint.
Dabangg 2

Dabangg 2 may not have lived up to the reputation of its predecessor but there's no dearth of snappy zingers from our beloved Robinhood Pandey.

Wanted
"Ek baar maine commitment kardi toh phir mein apne aap ki bhi nahi sunta."
Now that's one heck of a warning from a beefy guy who's all set to break your teeth as we soon find out when a icy cool Salman unleashes his fury in Wanted.
Bodyguard
"Mujhpe ek ehsaan karna, mujhpe koi ehsaan mat karna."
Wanted and Kick started the trend of pithy Salman-isms. Ditto for Bodyguard.
What's special? It's all in the attitude, boss!
Andaz Apna Apna
"Saala, main bhi pheku aur yeh bhi pheku. Circus ka retired Bandar lagta hai."
Andaz Apna Apna is full of quotable quotes. Not just because they're funny but also because how the actors act it. Like remember Salman 'Ooimaa' Khan's comic contempt for Aamir 'Haila' Khan in the comedy's memorable bus scene.

"Abbe hool de raha hai? Muscle dekha hai muscle? Masal ke rakh doonga!"
This one transports us to the pre-Wanted era, back when his threats were empty but SO DARN entertaining.

"Aap devil ke peeche, devil aapke peeche -- too much fun!"
For a cheesy line to truly work, an actor has to enjoy it for what it is. Salman understands this perfectly. The upshot is, what can we say, too much fun!
Saajan
"Kaam hi mera pooja hai aur pooja hi mera kaam hai."
As a love-struck Casanova brushing up his poetry skills to win over the latest object of his affection, Salman explains the nature of his character through an amusing usage of puns in a scene from Saajan.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan
"Hum Bajrangbali ke bhakt hain. Mar jayenge lekin jhooth nahi bolenge."
This is Bhaijaan at his dedicated and dignified best. Especially since the mission involves reuniting a lost Pakistani kid with his mom by traveling all the way across the border sans a passport or pretense purely in good faith.

Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!
"He never bites. He only loves."
That's Salman introducing Tuffy, the wonder Pomeranian to Madhuri Dixit who returns his fine compliment by reuniting him with the latter in the family drama's outrageous climax.
Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
"Agar tum mujhe yunhi dekhti rahi toh tumhe mujhse pyaar ho jayega."
And this peppery first encounter between an impish Salman and feisty Aishwarya as they gaze deeply into each other's eyes across a fancy chandelier gives us a fair indication of what's in store.
Khamoshi: The Musical
"Jab tum hasti ho toh tum bahut khubsoorat lagti ho. You look very ugly."
Saying the strangest things with utmost charm not just helps Salman's extrovert Raj in winning Manisha Koirala's introvert Annie's heart, but ours too.
