Salman Khan to play daddy

June 15, 2017 10:04 IST

The star plays a widower in Remo's dance drama.
Subhash K Jha reports.

For a man who has declared he is a bachelor for life, Salman Khan loves children.

His nieces and nephews adore Chachu, and the sometimes testy star is all gooey and grins when he is around kids.

One of his biggest hits in recent times, Bajrangi Bhaijaan had him bonding with a little girl, which had more screen time than he had with his romantic interest, Kareena Kapoor, in the movie.

In Tubelight -- his Eid release -- Salman has another cute kiddie costar, a lil' Chinese boy.

Now, we hear SalluChacha will play a widower with a 9-year-old daughter in choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza's next film.

To be shot in 2018, Remo's movie will feature Salman learning dancing from scratch to please his daughter.

Shah Rukh Khan played a widower with a 9-year-old daughter in Karan Johar's first film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

SRK gets the girl he has always loved -- Kajol -- in the end. Guess who lost out? Salman Khan!
