Rajnikanth's Robot eyes box office jackpot

October 04, 2010 17:06 IST

Salman Khan's reign at the box office finally came to an end with the opening of the Rajnikanth-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Robot. The movie dominated the other movies Anjaana Anjaani and Khichdi: The Movie, which also opened on the same day.

Anjaana Anjaani, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, was a drab affair with average collections, which dropped further on Monday. As for Khichdi The Movie, the collections were poor.

Trade analyst Vinod Mirani gives us the box office verdict for the week.
