A still from ManasologyShruti Indira Lakshminarayana feels that there's nothing fresh about Kannada film Manasology's story. Post YOUR reviews here!

Deepak Aras teams up with sister and actress Amoolya for his directorial debut, Manasology.

Manas (Rakesh) and Sihi (Amoolya) are in love even though they have not met each other. The love story begins when Manas mistakenly sends an SMS to Sihi and she falls flat for the poetry in the message. The girl, who is very close to her father, makes known her feelings for Manas and the father approves their relationship as he thinks his daughter can do no wrong.

Manas and Sihi finally plan to meet but on the proposed day, Manas meets with an accident and dies. Sihi is not informed about this and
she keeps pining for Manas and goes a little mad waiting for her lover. Compounding the problem is the entry of a guy also called Manas. How will Sihi's father find out the truth about this Manas?

Manasology offers nothing different to Amoolya, who very recently played a doting daughter in Nanu Nanna Kanasu. There is nothing fresh about the story either.

The performances of the actors are also nothing to rave about. While Amoolya dominates each scene, she doesn't make much of an impression.

Rakesh has limited scope for performance. An excellent actor like Achyutha also is let down by the character he has to portray. Sadhu Kokhila doesn't raise any laughs this time.

The songs are not memorable and actually seem intrusive at times. The lighting, picturesque locations and choreography are interesting.
