Reliance Entertainment's new studio to produce Akshay's Rustom

Akshay KumarReliance Entertainment has collaborated with director Neeraj Pandey and producer Shital Bhatia's Friday Filmworks to form a new production company called Plan C Studios.

This joint venture studio will be producing Akshay Kumar starrer historical drama Rustom, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, reports Variety.

Apart from Akki's period drama, Plan C Studios will be producing films directed by Shivam Nair, Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, Anurag Singh, Anvita Dutt and Shree Narayan Singh.

Reliance Entertainment head honcho Anil Ambani and Pandey were in talks for a long time but the deal got sealed just recently.

Their new company will also produce Neeraj's film Ghalib Danger which is the film adaption of the filmmaker's book of same name.

While Reliance Entertainment is making all the right movies with their new production studio, internationally too, they are associated with film projects like Gurinder Chadha's directorial venture Viceroy's House and french director Serge Hazanavicius's drama nOmber One.

In December, Anil Ambani had joined hands with Hollywood director Steven Spielberg to form Amblin Partners which is content creation company for film, television and digital.
