Raveena: Aamir has a right to his opinion

November 25, 2015 17:21 IST

Raveena TandonA look at the top posts on social media from your favourite Bollywood celebrities:

While Aamir Khan is facing ire on social media for his comments about the increasing intolerance in India, reactions continue to pour in on Twitter.

Raveena Tandon
tweeted: 'Please a request, agree/disagree is our right, I agreed to sm things aamir said, disagree with a few ..He has his right to opinion, pls refrain. This is a free country.. Violent protests/abuses spoil the atmosphere for a healthy debate.. Please don't get carried away with hatred. Ultimately we all want to be proud and see our country progress .. Our goal is the same. For our children to grow up in a great new India.'

Kabir Bedi: 'ABCD of "#Intolerance": Appointments, Bans, Censorship, Deaths of non-conformists. True. But, overall, India remains as tolerant as ever.'

Aditi Rao Hydari: 'Charming! So when someone thinks of relocating we burn their pictures and then by association abuse me- And we say we are not intolerant?'

Mini Mathur: 'My question to all those who are reacting to Aamir Khans interview ... "Have YOU seen the interview?" Please do. Then opine. Now waiting for the trolls to bombard me asking me to go to Pakistan because Im married to a Muslim & telling me there's no intolerance.'

Jaaved Jaaferi: 'All the people who have migrated from India, had a choice, and could afford to. Ask the people at Microsoft,NASA,Google,Doctors in UK/USA. How come these migrants are not condemned for not staying here and making their country better?? Are they traitors too?'

Shirish Kunder: 'People may get upset if their logic is challenged, but they will get angry if their blind faith is challenged. The words of the wise will be silenced by the aggression of fools. #IStandWithAamirKhan'

Shobhaa De: 'Most balanced perspective on the manufactured Aamir Khan controversy comes from Rajdeep Sardesai. Hate mongers need to read it and back off.
