Varun Dhawan, Gauahar Khan say goodbye to Sidharth

As news of Sidharth Shukla's shocking death spread, his friends from the television and film industry arrived at Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, where Shukla's body was taken, to pay their last respects.

Asim Riaz stayed with Sidharth Shukla right till the end of Bigg Boss 13, when he finished runner-up to Sidharth's big win.

 

Hindustani Bhau was a part of Bigg Boss 13.

Film-maker Ashoke Pandit was among the first to arrive at the hospital.

 

Varun Dhawan, who had starred with Sidharth in the latter's Bollywood debut, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, visits his home.

 

Gauahar Khan, who was in Bigg Boss with Sid, posted a touching tribute: 'From me watching you as an audience, to me discovering you as a friend . Thank you @colorstv and #BiggBoss for introducing me to a GEM ! @realsidharthshukla the moments I shared with u taught me how childlike you were, soft hearted, caring, loving, ziddi in the spirit to win in a game, naughtiest in the group, apologetic when u realised ur mistake, gave the best hugs, needed all the pampering to show apnapan, n just the nicest little child in the body of a handsome hunk. Thank you for sharing so many lovely stories of ur life with me, will remember you through them ! I truly wish I got more time with you ! I pray that your soul keeps smiling, forever! Love n prayers, Sid!'  

 

Gurmeet Choudhury posted: 'Not sinking in …..A star like no other. god give strength to his family and his fans who loved him like next of kin! gone too soon bhai.'

 

Vishal Aditya Singh was in Bigg Boss 13 with Sidharth too.

 

Rashami Desai posted, 'Sometimes life gets complicated but today was a reminder that there’s something bigger than all of us. Words don’t make sense anymore. My heart breaks as I type this - rest in peace.'

 

Rajkummar Rao posted his tribute: 'This is so unfair. Gone too soon Sidharth. Rest in peace brother. You will be in our hearts forever. My deepest condolences to his family, friends & fans.'

 

Devoleena Bhattacharya paid tribute to Sidharth, posting, 'Will miss you.'

 

Jay Bhanushali and his wife Mahi Vij arrive.

Just like the rest of us, Jay 'still can't believe' the news about Sidharth.

'Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts,' he posted.
