A look at the star arrivals.

Several Bollywood stars turned up at the fifth edition of Jagran Film Festival at Taj Lands End in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, over the weekend.

And oh what fashion sorcery we witnessed on the red carpet! Take a look!

Actress Chitrangada Singh's backless number was without doubt the single most head-turning outfit of the evening.

Star father-son duo Rakesh and Hrithik Roshan were photographed at the do too.

Mary Kom star actress Priyanka Chopra, always impeccably turned out at social dos, looked rather lacklustre in her floral Blumarine dress, as she arrived.

Kangna Ranaut's demure-looking white shift dress featured a risque slit in the sides, which she paired with ankle length-boots.

Starlets Zarine Khan and Sonal Chauhan stood out by way of their very colourful lip shades. If only lesser mortals could work lips like that!

And that was the only redeeming feature about their appearances, if you take their extremely busy outfits into consideration.

Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff (who took the unkempt, rugged look to a new level), Sharman Joshi, photographed at the do.

Former Bigg Boss participant Ejaz Khan gestures, while Dalip Tahil looked rather pensive which is odd since he was one of the better dressed celebs of the evening.

He had us at the hot pink pocket square.

Vivek Oberoi, working some facial fuzz (that may or may not be working for his angelic face), and Heropanti debutant Tiger Shroff were also in attendance.

Television actress Rashmi Desai, Divya Dutta, and Tisca Chopra opted for very distinct outfits for their respective appearances at the film fest. Needless to say, they pulled them off with varying success.

Neha Dhupia and Sushmita Sen flash a smile for the shutterbugs.

Wish Sushmita gave her black outfits a rest already.

Vidya Balan looked lovely in her electric blue sari as she arrived with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Veteran playback singer Anuradha Paudwal put up a rare appearance.

Filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan and director-producer Subhash Ghai were also among invited guests.

Tusshar Kapoor, Meiyang Chang and Rajneish Duggal looked dapper in their respective outfits.

Former Bigg Boss inmates Elli Avram and VJ Andy strike a pose together.
