Telugu superstar Nagarjuna's son Chaitanya Akkineni got engaged to his girlfriend Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Sunday, January 29, in a private ceremony in Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna announced the big news on Twitter with a picture of the couple and captioned it, referring to his film Manam: '#Chaisam It's official now. My mother is my daughter now. Couldn't be happier!!more pics to come.'
'#Chaisam...can't express my happiness in words!!' he added.
His younger son Akhil also took to Twitter to express his happiness: 'My brother and my new sister ! I'm the happiest thammudu in the world. Love you guys!'
Samantha shared a picture of her engagement ring and captioned it, 'He put a ring on it #myengagementsaree #mystory #mywholelife #thankyoukoecsh #cantgetbetter.'
