PIX: Kajol, Rishi Kapoor attend Reema Lagoo's funeral

Veteran actress Reema Lagoo's death came as a shock to everyone.

Her last rites were held at the Oshiwara crematorium, in the wester suburbs of Mumbai, on Thursday afternoon.

While Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran Rao and ex-wife Reema Dutta visited Lagoo's home to offer their condolences, other friends and colleagues attended the funeral.

Kajol had played Reema Lagoo's daughter in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

She had tweeted earlier: 'RIP Reemaji. U will always be loved and remembered in the best ways. With ur wonderful smile.'

Rishi has worked with Reema in movies like Prem Granth, Heena and Shreemaan Aashique.

He had tweeted: 'RIP. Worked in quite a few films. Reema Lagoo. Good friend. Heartfelt condolences.'

Sachin Pilgaonkar had directed Reema Lagoo in the hugely successful television series Tu Tu Main Main, where she played the dominating mother-in-law to Sachin's wife Supriya.

Supriya Pilgaokar, seen here, and Reema Lagoo had provided much laughs in Tu Tu Main Main, which ran for over six years.

One of Reema Lagoo's last TV shows is Naamkarann. Her co-star Barkha Bisht Sengupta arrives with husband Indraneil Sengupta.
