PIX: Baahubali meets Narendra Modi

Telugu superstar Prabhas met the Prime Minister and requested him to watch Baahubali.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday July 26, met Telugu superstar Prabhas, whose film Baahubali, is creating history at the box office.

'Met 'Baahubali' Prabhas today,' the PM posted on Twitter along with a picture.

Prabhas who plays the title role in the film, wished that the Prime Minister could take out time to watch it.

'It was a privilege meeting our honourable Prime Minister, Narendra ModiJi. We spent much time discussing Baahubali and I suggested to watch it. He said he's extremely busy but will watch it if and when he gets the time. Hope he enjoys the film.' Prabhas said in his tweet.

The 35-year-old actor accompanied his uncle, a veteran actor and former MP Krishnam Raju and aunt during the meeting.

Baahubali, which beautifully captures the story of two warring brothers for a kingdom, has so far amassed over Rs 350 crore worldwide.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film also features Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles.
