Abhishek Bachchan gets love from the Indian Diaspora.

Abhishek Bachchan celebrated India's Independence Day in New York at the 36th India Day Parade.

Considered as the largest India Day Parade in the world, the chief guests also included yoga guru Baba Ramdev and south actor Vikram. Abhishek and Vikram, incidentally, worked together in Mani Ratnam's Raavan.

While Abhishek was the Grand Marshall, actress Priyanka Kothari was a guest of honour.

The Housefull 3 actor wore a blue mandarin suit under a shinny tri-colour sash.

The parade was attended by 75,000 people, and ran through about 13 streets in Madison Avenue. It featured an array of vibrant tableaux by various Indian-American groups, marching bands and cultural performances.
