The timeless beauty has been waxed at Madame Tussauds, New Delhi.

The gorgeous Madhubala has been immortalised at New Delhi's Madame Tussauds wax museum.

The figure is styled in her most popular Anarkali character from the classic Mughal-E-Azam.

Its making involved a lot of research which included meeting the late legend's family members, studying her photographs and footage from her films.

Several artists worked on the figure for six months to get it right.

Madhubala was one of the most stunning actresses of her time, and she had quite a fan following in the industry.

Madhubala's youngest sister Madhur Brij Bhushan unveiled the statue.

'We are overwhelmed to know that Madhubala's figure would be part of Madame Tussauds, Delhi,' she said.

'This figure would allow her admirers to cherish the golden era of cinema and once again see her beauty. We are extremely thankful to the Madame Tussauds team for creating such a beautiful depiction of Madhubala.'
