Shah Rukh Khan became a star, thanks to his anti-hero roles in the big hits, Darr and Baazigar. He followed it up with Anjaam, opposite Madhuri Dixit. But the audience had had enough of him playing the bad guy and the film tanked.
SRK went on to do romantic roles, and emerged the ruling Khan of the Hindi film industry.
Many years later, he tried to play a negative character again, in Farhan Akhtar's Don. But the film did not do as well as was expected from an SRK Diwali release.
Now, the actor is all set to play an out-and-out negative character in Krrish 2.
