Salman Khan is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol on September 28, 2002, and driving over pavement-dwellers in Mumbai's Bandra area killing one of them on the spot and injuring two others.

The actor was arrested and sent to jail, only to be released after two weeks, but the case is still going on in a Mumbai court.
