Malayalam film Philips & the Monkey Pen releases today

A still from Philips and the Monkey PenMalayalam film Philips & the Monkey Pen which releases today, November 7, will see an eight-year-old called Ryan Philip playing the lead characte.

The film is about this child who finds it difficult to do his maths homework. But things get more interesting when he gets a magical pen called the Monkey Pen.

Directors Rojin Thomas and Shanil Muhammed make their debut with the film. Actor Sanusha’s younger brother Sanoop plays the role of Ryan Philip.

Ryan is the son of a young couple, Roy (Jayasurya) and Sameera (Remya Nambeeshan). Innocent, Mukesh, Joy Mathew, Sasi Kalinga and Vijay Babu are also in the film.

Philips & the Monkey Pen is produced under the banner of Friday Film House by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas.

Neil D’Cunha is the cinematographer. The music has been scored by actor Remya Nambeeshan’s brother, Rahul Subramanian.
