Madhoo of Roja fame, made a comeback in 2013 with Balaji Mohan’s Tamil-Malayalam bi-lingual Vaayai Moodi Pesavum / Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram.
She now makes a comeback in Kannada with the Sudeep starrer Ranna, which is a remake of Pawan Kalyan‘s Attarintiki Daredi in which she plays Sudeep’s mother-in-law.
Her last Kannada film was Time Bomb, which came out in 1994.

Kishore to work with Kamal Haasan in Thoogaavanam
Kishore is not only a household name in Karnataka but also in Tamil Nadu. Once described by Tamil director Vetrimaaran (who directed him in Polladhavan and Aadukalam) as “a very good actor with an interesting combination of Prakash Raj and Nana Patekar”, Kishore is fast emerging as a multi-lingual character artist who commands respect across all the film industries.
Kishore stole the show in films such as Haridas, Attahaasa and Aarambham.
He will now be seen in Kamal Hassan’s Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual Thoongaavanam / Cheekati Raajyam.
The film, directed by Kamal’s longtime associate Rajesh, will also feature Prakash Raj and Trisha. The music is by Ghibran and cinematography by Sanu Varghese.
