Madhavan returns to Tamil cinema after 3 years

R Madhavan is busy promoting his sports drama called Irudhi Suttru in Tamil, and Saala Khadoos in Hindi.

Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film has the actor playing a boxing coach; newcomer Ritika Singh plays an aspiring boxer.

The audio launch was recently held in Chennai, and was attended by the big names from the industry like PK director Rajkumar Hirani, director Bala, Nassar, Suriya, Siddharth, music composer Santhosh Narayanan and several others. Hirani, incidentally, is producing the film.

Madhavan, Suriya and Siddharth, who have been friends for a long time, enlivened the event by striking their signature pose from Mani Ratnam’s Aayutha Ezhuthu -- a film they had done 12 years ago.

Trisha gets inked for the third time

Trisha has got herself a new tattoo!

Her first tattoo was a fish that she got tattooed on her chest. It was followed by her sun sign Taurus on the back of her hand.

This time, Trisha has chosen a symbol that speaks of her passion for cinema -- a camera mounted on a tripod that also resembles a clapboard -- for her shoulder.

The actress posted a picture of her latest tattoo, seen in the inset above, with a tweet that she loved her job: 'Wear evrythn in ur heart on ur skin" ?N so here goes tattoo no 3 #lovemyjob #moviesareforever.'

Amitash will star in a Hollywood film

Amitash Pradhan made his debut as an antagonist in Dhanush's 2014 blockbuster Velai Illa Pattadhari. Now, he has landed a plum role in a Hollywood project.

The film will be directed by Duane Adler, who has written the Step Up movies.

The film will revolve around an American Hip Hop dancer, who comes to India for a wedding and falls in love with the guy, who then introduces her to the Indian style of dancing.
