For all Aishwarya Rai fans, here's some good news. The actress will feature in Pritish Nandy Communication's forthcoming film, Shabd. Directed by debutante Leena Yadav, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Zayed Khan.

Shabd is a thriller about a writer (Dutt), his second wife (Rai), and a professor (Khan). Interestingly, Dutt's role was first offered to Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar.

With music from Vishal-Shekhar, the film will go on the floors in June.

At the moment, the careers of the three lead members of the cast are going very well. Ash put on a negative act for the first time in her last film, Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and Tusshar Kapoor, the film was a winner.

Sanjay Dutt's Munnabhai MBBS had a slow start. But the comic caper started a new lingo trend and became one of the bigger hits of 2003.

The Zayed Khan-starrer Main Hoon Na hit theatres on April 30 and has been running to full houses for almost a week. Directed by Farah Khan, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty and Amrita Rao.
