Asin and Rahul Sharma welcome their first child!
Asin and Rahul Sharma welcomed their first child, a baby girl on October 24.
The Ghajini actress and Sharma, co-founder of the tech company, Micromax, confirmed the news in a statement:
'We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today.
'The last nine months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our wellwishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support.'
The couple tied the knot last January in a Christian wedding ceremony, where Asin's Khiladi 786 co-star, Akshay Kumar, served as Rahul's best man.
This was followed by a Hindu wedding ceremony in Delhi.
Akshay Kumar posted the first picture of Asin's baby girl and wrote, 'One joy which is completely unmatched... congratulations to my dearest friends @simply.asin and Rahul on the arrival of their little angel.'
