'Joggers Park' to be screened at Cairo film festival

A still from Joggers ParkJoggers Park, an unusual, light-hearted story set in Mumbai and produced under Subhash Ghai's banner, Mukta Arts, has been selected as the premiere film at Cairo International Film Festival.

The Festival will also celebrate the Subhash Ghai Film Festival with the screening of two of his blockbusters, Hero and Karma, according to a press release.

Ghai said in a statement, 'It is an honour to have Joggers Park selected as the premiere film along with the opportunity to screen Hero and Karma at this prestigious film festival. Receiving such a worthy platform to showcase their films to international audience is an extremely encouraging step to Indian film-makers.'

Ghai will attend the festival on October 7.
