If you missed Jodhaa Akbar in Hindi, you could still watch it in Tamil and Telugu!

That's right, Ashutosh Gowarikar's epic love story will be released in the two languages on March 7, at a grand event specially planned for the occasion in Hyderabad. The lead stars, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be attending the star-studded event.

This marks the first time that a Hindi film is being

released on such a grand scale, and that too in a dubbed version. The producers of the film -- UTV Motion Pictures -- and Ashutosh Gowarikar Productions will release 65 prints in Tamil and 60 in Telugu, in what could be considered a huge number for any Hindi film.

Jodhaa Akbar, which has been bogged down by controversies over Jodha's existence, has done extremely well in the overseas market but did average to below average business in most of the centres in India.

According to a release from Imagesmiths, the public relations firm that was handling Jodhaa Akbar for UTV, the film made Rs 52.70 crores in India in 10 days, and Rs 21.30 crores in the overseas market.

And all this despite the film being banned in many places like Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. In Rajasthan too, the film was not screened due to fear of violence.
