Lara Dutta gets ready for Fitoor

Lara Dutta, who was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's David, has started shooting for her next film Fitoor.

'New day, new movie!! Happy to join the cast and crew of Fitoor for Day 1! Daughter has passed her verdict on my outfit so I'm good to go :-)' she posted.

The film, which is based on Charles Dickens' novel Great Expectations, will also feature Rekha, Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif, Rahul Bhat, Aditi Rao Hydari, Akshay Oberoi and Aditya Roy Kapoor.

Abhishek Bachchan welcomes Suriya

Suriya is the latest celebrity to join Twitter bandwagon and his actor-friend Abhishek Bachchan welcomed him.

'Crew, give a warm welcome to a dear friend and an actor I have HUGE respect for @suriya_offl. Welcome to the chaos brother!' Abhishek tweeted.

Suriya will be next seen in supernatural thriller Masss, which is expected to release on May 1.

Soni Razdan gets Jeet Ganguly for Love Affair

 

Director-actress Soni Razdan recently recorded a song with singer Jeet Ganguly for her upcoming film Love Affair.

Mahesh Bhatt shared a picture from the recording studio (above) and tweeted: 'The talented musical team of LOVE AFFAIR with Soni & me .Jeet Ganguly is in deadly form I must say! Ufff what a song!'

Produced by Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar, Love Affair is set in the Mumbai of the 1950s. It will feature Kalki Koechlin, Gulshan Devaiah, Diandra Soares and Ali Fazal.

Rahman gears up for North American tour

Overjoyed with response to his upcoming concert, AR Rahman has added two more shows to his tour.

He tweeted: 'Thanks to the overwhelming response from all of you, we are adding a second performance in Redmond,WA (15th June) and another in Vancouver, BC (16th June) - ticketing information will be posted shortly.'

Titled AR Rahman: The Intimate Concert Tour, the show will begin on May 21 in New York.
