'I don't need to provide any character certificate'

Dabangg Director Abhinav Kashyap blamed Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz and Sohail Khan last week for destroying his career.

Kashyap is not done with the superstar yet.

He has now alleged that Salman's charitable initiative Being Human is just a 'show off' and worse, that money laundering is being done in the name of the charity.

Kashyap made these allegations in a Facebook post and asked for an investigation into the matter.

'Being Human is the biggest idea of Mr Salim Khan. The charity of Being Human is just a show off. During the shooting of Dabangg, five cycles were distributed in front of my eyes. The next day, it would be out in the newspapers that Salman Khan has distributed 500 cycles among the poor', Kashyap alleged.

When Rediff.com reached out to Salim Khan for his response on Kashyap's allegation, the legendary screenwriter said, "I don't need to provide any character certificate to anyone."

"I have been a part of this industry for six decades and have written 40 films, most of which have been superhits," added the man who as one half of the Salim-Javed writing duo created some of the most memorable Hindi films of the 1970s including Deewar and Sholay.

"If somebody has made any allegations against me or the foundation, they are allowed to do so as we live in a democratic country. Let the cops come and investigate and the law take its course."

"The truth will come out after which we will know who is trying to cheat," Salimsaab stated.

"I don't want to stoop down to his (referring to Abhinav Kashyap) level. If I am going in a car and a dog barks, I am not going to stop my car and give any attention to it."
